  • Changes to Bookings: Retrofit Cars reserves the right to change or reschedule bookings. You may also request changes to your booking. You can make changes to your booking up to 2 hours before the scheduled installation time. Requests made after this time may incur additional charges or be declined at our discretion.

  • Additional Costs: Certain jobs may require extra parts or labour beyond the initial estimate. We will notify you of any additional costs before proceeding with the work. Any additional work will only be carried out with your explicit consent.

  • Delays and Extended Time: Due to the nature of retrofitting services, some jobs may take longer than originally estimated. While we strive to complete all work on time, we cannot guarantee exact timeframes. If a delay occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible.

  • Cancellations: You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled service without incurring a fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee, which will be outlined at the time of booking. In the event of a no-show, a charge for the full service may apply.

 

4. Warranty and Liability

  • Warranty on Fitting: We offer a 12-month warranty on all fitting services provided by Retrofit Cars. This warranty covers defects in workmanship, including improper installation or failure of work caused by a fault in the fitting. This warranty excludes issues arising from misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications after installation.

  • Warranty on Parts: We supply parts from reputable manufacturers, and the warranty for parts is determined by the manufacturer. Typically, this warranty lasts from 12 months to 5 years depending on the product. You will be informed of the manufacturer’s warranty terms at the time of installation.

  • Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover:

    • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or environmental factors (e.g., extreme weather, water damage).

    • Wear and tear, including gradual deterioration of parts.

    • Alterations, modifications, or repairs made by third parties.

  • Making a Claim: To make a claim under warranty, please contact us at [contact details] with your order details and a description of the issue. If a defect is confirmed, we will either repair or replace the affected part or fitting, in line with the warranty terms.
